Career Panels feature a panel of 3–5 speakers who share insights on career paths, industries, and special topics related to their professional experiences and expertise. Career Panels are offered to Snider students from 8th grade through postsecondary education.

Career Conversations & Checkpoints

Career Conversations are meetings between the Career Success Coordinator or Alumni Advisors and Snider alumni to discuss internships and after-graduation job opportunities. During individual meetings, students work on clarifying their professional path, identifying career-related goals, and having their resumes reviewed. Alumni are also encouraged to attend a career fair or similar event hosted on their campus to practice networking skills.

Students have opportunities to join a Snider stakeholder at their place of employment. Unlike a Career Trip, Job Shadowing provides a one-on-one experience, giving students deeper exposure to a specific profession.

Alumni Coaches

High school seniors are invited to apply to become Snider Alumni Coaches, where they take on increased responsibility at summer camps and lead groups of current students as paid employees, working alongside experienced staff. Alumni are also encouraged to work during the after-school season. This training and work experience forms the basis for future career growth.

Currently, more than half of our coaching staff is made up of former students who return to teach the core values of Snider to a new generation.
