Junior Camper of the Week – Walden R.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of hockey?
Play sports like kickball and wiffleball. I also play video games and board games.
What is your favorite part of camp?
The ice time, because I’m a goalie.
What made you want to play hockey in the first place?
My mom signed me up and I fell in love with it.
What are you most looking forward to next season?
Probably winning games and being a good sport to other teams.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of hockey?
I like playing other sports to stay occupied and doing my school work so I can play hockey.
What is your favorite part of camp?
Doing all of the new drills and activities. Also meeting and playing with people from different rinks.
What made you want to play hockey in the first place?
It seemed like a fun thing to do and it’s a really active sport.
What are you most looking forward to next season?
Trying to be more of a team player on my team. Scoring some goals and helping new teammates adjust to the SHL.

Girls 13U Camper of the Week – Sydney J.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of hockey?
Going to my school clubs. I do robotics, ASL, DND, and drumline.
What is your favorite part of camp?
Getting on the ice and playing with friends.
What made you want to play hockey in the first place?
I saw my brother do it and I said, “why can’t I do that? Why am I on the bench?”
What are you most looking forward to next season?
Getting a lot of ice time.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of hockey?
Play with my little brother or go outside to the playground.
What is your favorite part of camp?
Playing hockey!
What made you want to play hockey in the first place?
When me and my dad went to the Flyers game, it looked pretty cool.

Seeing all of my friends!

What is your favorite thing to do outside of hockey?
I like to play other sports like baseball and football, and of course I like to play video games, like NHL, Madden and MLB.
What is your favorite part of camp?
I like going on the ice and having scrimmages during camp, and playing the games at the end of practice.
What made you want to play hockey in the first place?
My dad played and still does, he got me into playing. I’ve been skating since I was 5.
What are you most looking forward to next season?
Helping my teammates around me get better and score some goals myself.

School
What is your favorite part of camp?
Hanging out with friends and having fun

Reading, because I like finding new books and I think that’s cool, reading different stories.

You get to ice skate, have fun and practice with your friends.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of hockey?
Probably hang out with my friends. Talking, running around outside, and playing games together.
What is your favorite part of camp?
Skating, playing games, and scrimmages.
What made you want to play hockey in the first place?
My dad played hockey and asked if I wanted to try and I said yes!
What are you most looking forward to next season?
Playing SHL games against tougher competition in the Senior league.
