Tarken Recreation Center is located in the Oxford Circle neighborhood of Philadelphia and serves students from surrounding city neighborhoods. The rink was transformed from a seasonal venue to a year-round facility in 2012 when Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education partnered with the State of Pennsylvania and City of Philadelphia to completely renovate and enclose the rink. Tarken Recreation Center hosts the Snider After School Excellence Program from September to June and also hosts Snider summer camps during select weeks in July and August.
