The 3rd annual Ed Snider Celebrity Hockey Pro-Am brought together former NHL pros and Snider donors for an exciting evening of competitive hockey. Through the support of our incredible event donors, the Pro-Am raised $465,000 for our hockey, education, life skills and scholarship programs. All dollars are matched 2:1 thanks to the foresight and generosity of the late Ed Snider, thereby tripling the total amount raised to an astounding $1.39 million!

After arriving to the Wells Fargo Center, the competitors joined one of two teams, Team Snider and Team CrowdStrike. Pros were split among both teams and included the following individuals:

Pre-game ceremonies featured Flyers Anthemist Lauren Hart singing the National Anthem and a puck drop featuring two coaches for this event, Flyers legends Brian Boucher and Joe Watson. Jim Jackson and Lou Nolan provided commentary throughout the game, with Al Morganti sharing insights from the Team CrowdStrike bench, where he served as an honorary coach.

Both teams brought their competitive spirit, as for the second year in a row, the game went to overtime tied up at 7. Despite a strong effort from Team Snider, Team CrowdStrike ultimately came out on top, after an intense sudden death overtime. After celebrating with the trophy, both teams joined friends and loved ones in the Shift4 Club to celebrate another successful year!

Thank you to event organizers Ryan Limaye and Burt Podbere for making an incredible impact in the lives of Snider students! A special thanks to the Wells Fargo Center for hosting this unique event! For a full list of Snider events, click here: https://sniderhockey.org/upcoming-events/
