Snider Class of 2026 Honored at Senior Night

The Xfinity Mobile Arena was filled with excitement as Snider gathered to celebrate its graduating class of 2026 during Senior Night on June 9. The evening honored 67 high school, and college graduates for their academic achievements and commitment to the Snider community. Each graduate received graduation cords and a senior gift while family, friends, coaches, and staff enjoyed a slideshow highlighting memories throughout their Snider journey.

The ceremony opened with Snider alumni and Network Advisory Committee Co-Chair, Jim Forsythe as he shared remarks about the lifelong connections and opportunities that come with remaining apart of the Snider family and the Alumni Network. Senior Vice President of Community Relations and Executive Director, Flyers Charities, Cindy Stutman then delivered remarks recognizing Snider alum and Villanova University graduate Kareyna Baylor, welcoming her to the Comcast Spectacor Team as the organization newest Fellow. Stutman presented Kareyna with a Flyers jersey of her own before Kareyna reflected on her journey through the Snider program as the Graduate Speaker of the night.

Flyers public address announcer Lou Nolan then recognized each member of the Class of 2026 who crossed the stage and received applause as they were officially welcomed into the Snider Alumni Network. Senior Coordinator of Learn to Lead, Anne Cleary presented the 2026 Snider Leadership Award to Hashim Khan. Hashim is a graduate of Roman Catholic High School who will become the first Goals and Assist Scholar to attend the University of Delaware this fall. Hashim reflected on his time with Snider as he enters a new chapter of his life. Snider President, Scott Tharp concluded the ceremony by congratulating all of the students and their families while recognizing the hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments that brought them to this milestone.

After the ceremony, graduates joined friends, family, and coaches to Clarkie’s on the Club Level where they enjoyed a light dinner and reconnected with teammates.
