Fit to Lead is a one-day, in-person leadership conference for high school and college student-athletes. The conference will address contemporary issues that impact a student-athlete being a leader and role model on and off the playing field. Sessions will be presented in large and small-group settings led by outstanding motivational speakers, professional athletes, college facilitators, and Snider alumni. Special guest speakers will share inspirational messages, stories of overcoming adversity, and utilizing the power of positive influence.
It’s a good thing Sharp likes parades. As one of his generation’s most decorated players, he has spent a lot of time riding in them.
He rode in three as a Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks, who won the Cup in 2010, 2013 and 2015; was a member of Team Canada’s gold-medal-winning team at the 2014 Winter Olympics and won a Calder Cup title with Philadelphia of the American Hockey League in 2005.
Dr. Julie Lanzillo is the rare person who has actually done the thing she teaches. Long before she stepped into a lecture hall, she was lining up NFL draft picks for trading card rights, producing publications for MLB, NFL, and the NBA, and launching soccer combines that sent hundreds of players to professional leagues worldwide.
Rachel Segal is Group Vice President at the National Hockey League, where she leads strategic integration, social impact, and accessibility initiatives across the League.
