Charity Chair hockey 'floor-nament' turns Center City Philadelphia office into arena as Snider Hockey scored big at a unique fundrasier.

Diquan Jackson wanted to attend West Chester. But his grades weren’t good enough, so he enrolled in the Community College of Philadelphia and became a part-time coach at Snider Hockey.

It's been almost two years since his passing, but the specter of Ed Snider's generosity and caring for the people of his adopted city still looms large. The foundation remains in good hands with a team that remains dedicated to keeping his dream alive.

Two Snider Hockey students were chosen to represent the Philadelphia Flyers at the 2018 NHL All-Star Game in Tampa, FL!

During a ceremony at the Wells Fargo Center on January 6, Mayor Jim Kenney made a proclamation that the city will observe "Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation Day in Philadelphia", on what would have been Mr. Snider's 85th birthday.
